Loving lazy Sunday mornings!

I have so enjoyed just lounging around doing absolutely what I wanted to do. It's been one of those crazy busy weeks so it's some much needed downtime. Halloween was fun! I love the parade at school. My coworkers and I were the three blind mice. Some of the kids don't know the three blind mice apparently because one of them said, "there are sure a lot of blind cats this year." We got a good laugh out of that.
I came home from school and started on making the doughnut dough. We make doughnuts every year for Halloween, at least a hundred. We love them and it brings lots of friends and family over for samples. Shaili came and helped me roll them out and Kevin got home just in time to cook. I was hot that afternoon, it had been one of those unseasonably warm days, so I had opened the windows. Sooo... the doughnuts didn't raise like they should have so we had to heat the place up so they would raise.
It was fun seeing all the grandkids in their costumes and all. They are such a bright spot in our lives.
Josh called too that afternoon and I was glad to hear from him. He said they have 200 miles left of their 800 mile trek. Can't even imagine.
We missed seeing Spencer and Kristen this year on Halloween. They had to drive their route to deliver blood to Ogden.
We got a huge snow storm on Tues. It was a big change after how nice it was for Halloween. It snowed about 3 inches then we got more yesterday. I don't want to complain because we need the moisture but I certainly wouldn't mind if it had been rain. The cold always comes too soon no matter when it comes.
Friday night, the girls and their husbands took Kevin and I out for our thirtieth anniversary which was Oct. 23. We went to Texas Roadhouse. Loved it! Not only was the food to die for but the company was even better. We hadn't been out as adults since I don't even remember. Love my kids too. They are all becoming such incredible adults.
